So I was jazzing to do some digital painting. Like cuhraazy. So even though I'm falling a little bit behind on my lectures and haven't done any of my tutes or pracs, on Wednesday I punched out this guy:
Someone on DevArt has a character very similar to this. I don't know who. But I remembered it days later and kind of ran with it and got this so...that's the best credit I can give for the original inspiration, I'm afraid. Too much yellow, ohmans.
Guess who discovered the palette function in OpenCanvas and consequently got a million times better at this digital painting thing in a really short space of time!? (Haha, all this time I've been like "Man, there should really be a palette function...that seems like a huge oversight by the program designers... Maybe I should email them about it...?")
Meet Fleance. He is about a hundred times more gorgeous that I expected him to be. omgs looks at him. :O Unfortunately this is the largest resolution I have for this one because I saved over my backups at 40% the original size. FUUUUUCK. Not decided on the colouring of his clothing yet. Hahaha, I used all the Primary colours. :B
I should paint Enthalpien in the Secondaries. BURN YOUR RETINAAA~!
In other news: Anyone know of a good oekaki, or want to OpenCanvas network or something? I really want to draw with other people (god knows, I need the practice) but I don't go to some crazy artschool and therefore suck. D:
(Also, hello, people watching me! Wanna chat? 'cause I just switched to Miranda and it is awesome and I can chat to eeeverybody, even if they are on AIM and Yahoo! and crap. :D NOT that I need more distraction from university work, huhu.)
