I had the crappiest crap of a day today. Srsly. I was going to make a comic about it, it was that crappy, but I'm too lazy and also exhausted so screw that idea. Possibly tomorrow I will do that. :/

I was looking at some old art on my HD and remembering that I originally meant to keep a WEEKLY NO MATTER WHAT schedule even if it meant posting ooooold stuff so I guess I should get back to that!

So in 2002 I guess I would have beeeen...15? Going on 16. Yeah. Grade 10 and also the year Dad died but I don't think that really impacted my art (sadly). I'unno, I should go back and look at the sketchbook of that year and see what happened in November actually. That could be really interesting!

Aaaah, Lucifer. He's actually still hanging around the recesses of my mind these days but not so much as he did then. He's not nearly as sassy anymore either.


Okay, so the idea was that he didn't like getting woken up early. He had cool horns that changed shape with his mood (they moved kind of like snakes, I guess) and a teddy bear named Beelzebub who was his subordinate and ultimate confidante. Because I thought (and still think) that Beelzebub is just a really cute name. It's shortens to Bub for short! Come on, people.

Occasionally I would redeem myself and draw other things, holy crap!

Nightbreeze (whose real name I constantly forget) up the top there either stealing something or using a magic device, who knows. I got distracted by the cloak halfway through drawing him, hurrhurr. Thimblewink down the bottom there in GLORIOUS TECHNICOLOUR. xD Muted palette = good, yes?


The joke here is that since one of our players is anti-violence, all the enemies in our campaigns spout rainbows when they die instead of the more conventional substance known as blood. :B NINETALES IS COOL YEAH.


I was drawing Angora from alexds's The Meek but my style + her big eye style apparently = shiny anime. D: I'll do better next time omg. DDDDD:

That's pretty much it for the colour, I think... There's a whole mass of loose sketches but they're...loose, to say the least. I thought I had more stuff to post - I'll have a look around later. :/



I can tell that this new keyboard is going to take some serious getting used to. :|

My computer is still dead and my scanner/printer rendered useless as a result. Alas! Phil is coming over tomorrow to diagnose it as either:
a) not working because I am retarded
or
b) fucked up because the motherboard has gone on to a better place

So still no art even though I've got a little pile that's built up over the last 3 weeks. Whups. :B I do have one little thing from December though!




The entry to the Wintersday contest that got me third prize! Woohoo! The keyboard that's part of the prize arrived today and it is pretty spiffy! :D



In other GW related news - The Canthan New Year was a blast. I got one of each minipet. Must have cost me 100k all up though. D: And then another 50k on the bloody Boardwalk games. D: Cuuurrrsesss.

Sorry about the emo-angst last...week? I was pretty stressed out. Anyway, over it now! Time to be productive!
