Supanova was a blast! I didn't place in the art competition (again D:) but I guess that's just what I get for being lazy and entering old art. ;p I was going to do a full colour Ouran piece for the competition but even now the sketchwork for it is vague and nebulous. It was coming out a lot more SUSS than I intended...



Here's a little kitsune sketch I did while we watched the Iron Artist competition. :3 Scarves for the win!



Enthalpien again. From 2005. He's no longer anything like this - For example, he doesn't associate with giant eyeballs if he can help it...and he's about 12 years old.



Some more of Loscann, from the same page as before. His hair drives me nuts. I can never get it exactly right. I'unno, I'll figure it out eventually.



That's all I got. :D Having this sketchblog is really highlighting how little art I do to me. : / I really want to be able to say "Hey guys, look at this totally sweet completed A3 ink drawing I did with stylish composition and insane details!". Obviously, that will never happen at my current rate. :|

Off to do difficult mech assignment and print out notes. 8D

Six hour shift today. I am too short to use the check-outs without standing on my toes sometimes and that is LAME.



Cooooncept work! This is the first picture of Loscann ever. He'll star alongside Ester in a short comic Joey and I are hoping to have done by June. :D Hopefully maybe we can also get it published in either Generations or Oztaku. :3




Meet several versions of Ester. We're leaning towards the one in the middle there (with the pointy hat - not the ragdoll, lol) and the pouty one with the bonnet to the right. That's about the right attitude but the hat is, of course, an enormous point of contention.

She's a witch, aaw! Anyway, we'll be checking out Oztaku and Generations at Supanova! If they look cool/quality then we're definitely going to submit to at least one of them. ;D


Just messing with inking style. :/ I'm kind of stupid and messy with my brush pens. 8D I kind of want to use them to ink the Ester/Loscann comic though. :<


Sorry, no colour this week. Hey, at least it's not another week of Random Crap From Years Ago (TM).

I just watched "Sugihara: Conspiracy of Kindness" on SBS and now I want to cry TEARS of SADNESS. DDDD: Damn you, soppy documentary background music!
