I keep trying to listen to songs and podcasts n' crap but all I get is *silence* and then I remember I DON'T HAVE SPEAKERS. God, I'm smrt.

I love my DS. Sonic Rush is one of the best games I've purchased for it. :D So like oldschool Sonic games and so much fun! Definitely up there with Pokemon and Elite Beat Agents! After all the crap the Sonic franchise has put out lately, Sonic Rush is a really nice refresher. I hope they do more in this vein and less in the...guns and angst and crappy gameplay and human princesses from another dimension vein. :|

Other gaming news! I finally got a Swapmagic swap disc! So now I can play "backup" and other region PS2 games! Yay! Funnily enough, when I tried to take apart my second hand PS2's CD tray to make it accessible via slide tool I discovered that someone had already been there and done that. :P I haven't tested it yet 'cause all my region other-than-4 games are on loan just now.

ANYWAY! ARTS!



This is my character. She's a gnome/rogue. Her name is Tomato. She is ALWAYS GRUMPY, thus making her easy to roleplay. She doesn't trust tall people. That headshot is kind of demented and I should have whited it out or something. :D


This is Joey's Thri-kreen (sp? :|) character. He was created mostly to annoy the DM because the rules that apply to Thri-kreen are kind of complicated. His name is Tiktik. He is dumb as mud and horribly overpowered. Ignore the apparently lack of gravity at work on the collar in that drawing in the corner there.

There's also an elf/bard, a centaur/packmule and a human/rogue in the party. I'll post them when I get around to them, I guess. 8B It's a very silly campaign. The human/rogue spent 90% of the first session trying to collect a posse of NPCs and become a pimp. But then his plans were foiled by inadvertently being nearby when the world was saved by a gang of unlikely heros (out for an adventure~).

For a friend's birthday. I totally couldn't remember what anime she is into. So. Generic kitsune dude FTW! This thing took two hours and, dude, that is WAY too long. Got to speed up!


New art hooopefully soon. ACTUALLY I might post sketches from playing DnD some time(first time yesterday - it was fun! Yay!). I'm still working at that Oztaku comic but it is slow going and keeps getting interrupted by work and/or social life so... 8D I've been drawing and inking the Bulbasaur family again too so I'll put them up soon.

There we are! From 2006 some time. They look more dog-like and less frog-like than they should. Ohnoes! Might redraw them now that it's 2007.

All the cool kids are joining this Pokemonathon thing. Man, that's a long list of community rules. And that application thread! Scary! D: I sure hope Brandokay's going to be accepted on account of he's awesomesauce but I'm not seeing any "ACCEPTED" thingy under his application post. Le gasp!

Hmmm, two posts in 24 hours? Catching up for lost time maybe? :D I've also got some character arts for pirate comic acomin'. But now that I've told you all about it you will PROBABLY NEVER SEE THEM. :|

I just read the bestest essay on the development of Osamu Tezuka's Rock (part of the Tezuka Star System!). That some hardcore artsing right there.

I'm importing Pokemon Diamond from America! Haha, having an income is so bad for me. :B Especially with exams coming. But I don't care! This is the newest for reals pokemon game we're talking about! SO EXCITED!

Supanova was a blast! I didn't place in the art competition (again D:) but I guess that's just what I get for being lazy and entering old art. ;p I was going to do a full colour Ouran piece for the competition but even now the sketchwork for it is vague and nebulous. It was coming out a lot more SUSS than I intended...

That's all I got. :D Having this sketchblog is really highlighting how little art I do to me. : / I really want to be able to say "Hey guys, look at this totally sweet completed A3 ink drawing I did with stylish composition and insane details!". Obviously, that will never happen at my current rate. :|
